Wednesday 18th March 2015Upcoming: exhibitions in NYC & Gorcums Museum

From March 26 – April 11 2015 Hans Meertens' art will be on view at MZ Urban Art: the new gallery of Monkdogz Urban Art Inc. It is located at Chelsea 27, the new home of three art galleries owned by Marina Hadley, Christine Jeanquier and Latifa Metheny at 617 West 27th Street, New York, NY 10001.

Back in Chelsea after several years, MZ Urban Art currently showcases an international roster of familiar and new artists. The spacious new venue is a collaboration of Azart Gallery, Artemisia and MZ Urban Art.

‘The three galleries will be exhibiting exceptional contemporary artists from around the world in frequent solo and group shows. There will also be regular discussions, lectures, workshops and events showcasing artists, professionals and enthusiasts from all streams of art.
Located in the Chelsea Art District at 617 West 27th Street, New York City, the venue is part of the historic Terminal Stores building which has been beautifully refurbished while maintaining many of its original features from the 1880s. Chelsea 27 is accessible from both 27th street as well as from within the central corridor or tunnel on Eleventh Avenue. Flanked by a number of other established art galleries, it is a definite stopping point on your next visit to Chelsea.’ NY ARTBEAT

Works from my latest series 'Lost Pictures' will be on view at the Museum of Gorcum from May 2 - Sep 6 2015. The exhibition Paper Plus includes 20 contemporary artists who have created unique works using paper as their primary medium.
